Problem accessing SQL Server from a DLL

Post by p.. » Thu, 13 May 1999 04:00:00

Hello

I'm have the following problem:

1. I' using IIS, ASP and one DLL made by be... the dll was made using
VC++ 5.0... I have an NT Server 4.0 + SP4;
2. I have two ASPs;
2.1 The first one makes a call to a DLL... the second one perfoms a
access to an Oracle database
4. Inside my DLL... I want to access (ODBC) to a SQL Server database
and I can't... because it gives me an SQL_ERROR...!!! without any other
information... :(
5. If I try to access to the SQL Server using EXE version of the
program... can access to the SQL Server Database;

So the question is... there is any problem... If I try to access (ODBC)
to an SQL Server inside a DLL??? This problem doesn't happen if I
change the dsn to an Oracle database!!!

Thanks in advance, for your comments.
