But when SQL Server CE install attempts to install the
Data Access 3.1 it aborts the installation indicating
that there are no SDKs installed.  Since I have 3
different SDKs installed, I am confused as to what the
problem is.  Has anyone else experienced this problem or
know of a solution?

While I was installing SQL Server CE, the Data Access 3.1
setup simply aborted with no message. I installed eVC 4.0
and then tried again. It strangelly worked.
