Hey all-

I think I have built the notification services samples properly, but
when I go to the sample web pages
(http://localhost/nssamples/Flight/Default.aspx for example), I don't
see any controls, just text, on the page. For example, the list of
airlines appears as a list of static text, not a dropdown as I presume
it should be.

None of the samples work, they all show the same behavior. I rebuilt
the samples in VS, and it says that it succeeded, and I started the
services, but then I can't actually use the samples.

Any ideas how to fix this?

1. Notification Services samples

First time round I tried to build one of the Notification
Services examples with Window authentication logon setup
to my SQL Server. As I am using a machine for the
Notification services which doesn't belong to the same
domain as my SQL server I switched my server to use SQL
server authentication because it didn't work.

Now that I am using SQL server authentication I enter the
command:
'setupsamples administrator password mysqlserver sqluser
sqluserpassword sa' which was successful. However when I
go to build one of the Notifications Services examples I
still get the same errors even though I get prompted for
my SQL user password:
e.g.
