Hello,
I've created a Local Group on our Server (which also houses our SQL Server
databases) w/ UserIDs from the Global network. I then add the Local Group
as a New Login and give it access to the desired database. Next, I assign
permissions to that Local Group for the targeted tables within the database.
Problem: The users within the Local Group are not getting access to these
tables. If I create a Global Group and perform the same steps outlined
above, then the users do get access. What's going on? I need to be able to
do this for Local Groups only. (Also, I'm using NT authentication within
this Local Group.)
