Can't Print Data Model Diagram

Post by john flishe » Tue, 13 May 2003 23:42:36

Love the diagram feature in SQL Server 2000, but I can't
print the #$%#$ thing for unknown reason.  Am running a
PIII 450mhz Dell w/15gb HD and 256mb RAM.  The model
printed out on 24 pages (6 rows by 4 columns)in ERWin.

Any ideas?  Any know issues w/trying to print out a data
diagram from SQL Server 2000?

Thanks.

John,

EM does not have the print option. You have to copy/paste the picture. Or
use professional diagramming tool, from MS side it is Visio 2002.

Thank you, I have the same problem.
2 questions:
a. Is Microsoft Visio the same as you mentioned Visio 2000?
b. How can I transfer those diagrams from SQL Sever to Visio 2000?

Visio 2002 is newer version.

You don't transfer them, with Visio you can do reverse engineering of the
database automatically.
