SQl Server 6.5 and 150 gb database

An internal project is now estimating it's database size at 150gb. Has
anyone on the news list has any experience of SqL server 6.5 on databases of
this size?
What is the largest database that you have heard of on SQL Server. I would
like some comfort that this is not an exceptional size and that I don't have
to move to Oracle!

That is a big database.   What type of data are you storing?  Images?
If you ask Microsoft, they would say it would work.     I don't like
databases that big because it takes so long to do any DBCC test or fixes.

If you have a big box with a lot of memory and CPU's, it should work.

Hi, i got some sql database installed on a sql server 6.5 with win NT 4.0
server
i'm doing a parrallel installation of the winNT server on a new machine,
evrey thing is doing fine except the fact that ho do i do to
migrating sql sever 6.5 from sql server 6.5 to another sql server 6.5
that's the big problem
