web site designer tool for sql

Im in need of a web site designer tool for sql2k. I need

the Commerce Server site and it appears to have alot that
I need if I use Frontpage with it. (I dont want to write
alot of my own code.) If I want to do all this on a win2k
platform and have a sql2k backend without having to write
most of the code myself, are there other options out there
for me, or are these the tools preferred by most people. I
dont know what thee pros/ cons would be for other tools
like Dreamweaver, Visual Studio, etc.
Thanks.

Take a look at the Asp.net starterkits at www.asp.net/starterkits. They have
a good pre-built e-commerce application and several other templates.

Do you know what the difference would be between that and Commerce Server?

1. Interesting web sites - web-related tools

I am currently setting up the web site for my company, which
provides client/server-based solutions.

I am planning to add links to sites that provide fun and interesting
details on web-related products (I am already including links to
client/server-related sites) such as browsers, authoring tools,
languages for the web, extensions to existing client/server products to
access the web etc. Topics of interest could include:

A)      white papers on products
B)      comparitive study of technology or commercial products
C)      new directions in technology (Internet objects, OLE on the web,
VRML)
D)      virtual office products
E)      end-user viewpoints
F)      location of FAQs
G)      case studies
H)      web authoring languages (javascript, vbscript, java applets
etc.)
I)      Extensions to existing products to access the web

you get the idea. Anything that you feel will fit in and will be
interesting to browse through.

Please mail me all the replies directly and I will collate them and post
a consolidated one in the newsgroup later.

Thanks in advance,

-suresh
