vleung2, looks like a problem with the way you are handling the return
values in your ODBC application. Btw, Query Analyzer is connecting to SQL
Server using ODBC too.

Hi all,

has anybody experience ODBC returning a zero in the stored procedure
when it return a number in Query analyzer. and a null string when it is
a string in Query analyzer?

and how to solve it

1. ODBC returns incorrect value in stored procedure

Hi all,
has anybody experience stored procedure returning a value say 2 in Query
analyzer but when pass through ODBC returns a 0. When returning a string
value, ODBC returns a null.

Please shed some light on this.
