If I use DTS to transfer a table, the default value given to cols are lost!

Rather than choose copy table choose copy objects and data between SQL
Servers. This will by transfer the default.

Sorry,
I found the problem! we wrote over the tables by importing in some tables
from the backup. For some reason the table settings are lost after importing
from the backup for the same database...
