Event ID 322: Event 19020 error

Event ID 322: Event 19020 error

Post by Dave Rizz » Thu, 26 Feb 1998 04:00:00

I get a message in the NT Event log everytime I reboot my NT 4.0 SP3
server with SQL Server 6.5 SP4: "The data portion of event 19020 from
MSSQLServer is invalid."  Q155184 references this problem, but it says
the workaround is to not use the multi-protocol library or to start SQL
Server before SQL executive.  I use named-pipes and have the
"depends-on" registry entry set for SQL Server to start before SQL
executive.

Anyone else having a similar problem?
