Job Titles: System Application Architect
Skills required: Object Oriented analysis, design and construction
skills. Project architecture specifies three tiered, client server
environment. Architect must have actual experience using C++ to
develop major, mission critical production systems in a client server
environment. Must understand the layered approach to application
development.
Responsibilities: Analyzing the application and system requirements
and defining the infrastructure to be used; defining the software and
hardware platforms for the application; providing the high-level
architecture design; evaluating the hardware and software packages for
compatibility with the defined architecture; ensuring the integrity of
the entire design; communicating the architecture; delivering documents
on the architecture design and the hardware and software analysis.
Situation: Must live in Wellington, New Zealand for the
project duration. Moving expenses provided.
