Error 109 during SQL 6.5 setup

Error 109 during SQL 6.5 setup

Post by Yeung Wing Hung John » Sat, 19 Oct 1996 04:00:00

Hi, I am trying to install the SQL 6.5 Server on NT4.0. There is an
error 109 and the setup is stopped unsuccessfully.  I figured out that
109 means "The pipe has been ended."  However, how to correct this
situation?  Please advice me.  Thanks in advance.

Johnny.

1. more Re: SQL Executive error 109 and MS SQL 6.5

Hi!
I am new to the list, and I have a question about an error
I get when I try to start the MS SQL Executive sevice from
my system control panel.
I get a specific service error of 109.
The diagnostics (see below) seem to indicate that SQL
Executive seems to think I am running MS SQL 6.0 servers.
I have installed and am running SQL Server 6.5
Diagnostic information is at the end of this post.

Is there a registry entry that is messed up?
If so, how do I repair it?

Does anyone know what this means or where I can find
help concercning this?

Thanks!
John Boller
