In merge replication, you can not use a table with timestamp column. You
should be okay doing transactional replication. On the subscriber, the
timestamp datatype gets converted to Binary.

1. replication 7.0 -> 6.5

Am seeking any knowledge on the feasibility of doing pull subscription
transactional replication where the publ/distributor is SQL 7.0 and the
subscriber is SQL 6.5.

All good advice appreciated!
