NO NETWORK...Sorta'...

I'm not on a network, I'm trying to install SQL Server 6.5, and it won't
let me.  I intalled MS Loopback Adapter to fix it, but now TCP/IP is all
messed up!!!  There's just one problem, I have to have the TCP/IP protacol
going to run my web server.  I run a web server, but that's the only
network (sorta'...see where the title comes in now?) I'm on...WHAT DO I
DO!!!

Thanks,

What do you mean TCP/IP is "messed up"?  I've got the loopback adapter &
had it work well with TCP/IP... Are you using DHCP, or a fixed address?  If
it's a problem and you're using RAS with tcp/ip, go into control panel -
network-bindings and disable tcp/ip from the loopback adapter (and just use
ipx or netbeui).
