*** Error 1058: The service cannot be started, ...

either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices
associated with it.

In other words: HELP!

All of a sudden, we couldn't connect anymore. The error message
appears when trying to start the service through the Services panel on
Windows 2K Adv. Server.

Yes! It was disabled as described in the first article. Next question,
of course, how did it get disabled? But we'll figure that one out
ourselves...
