We are planning on building a 60-100 gig database. Has anyone had any
experience with such large DBs on NT using SQL Server? War stories
welcomed!

Yes, I have a 100Gb+ SQL 6.5 database.  No great problems worth mentioning and
it will be upgraded to SQL 7.0 shortly.

Between 400 and 700.  No, no problems with numbers of users so far.

1. SQL Server 6.5 DB viewable in SQL 7.0?

I have a machine with a SQL Server 6.5 database on it and a connection
(registered server) to a 6.5 database on another machine.  I want to
upgrade to 7.0, but still be able to access the other 6.5 database on
this machine without converting the database (I want one DB to be 7.0
and the other to remain 6.5).  Is there any way to do this?  I would

too.  Thanks in advance,
