Joe,

Check out the "odbcunix" entry in the SQL Server FAQ at
www.sqlserverfaq.com.

When posting, inclusion of SQL (CREATE TABLE ..., INSERT ..., etc.) which

1. Accessing Online Dynamic Server (WinNT server 4.0) from Unix host (AIX)

Hello professionals,

I have an question about accessing an Online Dynamic Server 7.20 TUC on my
Windows NT server 4.0 from my AIX 4.2 Unix server through my network.
I have editted my SQLHOST file on the unix-host. Added a service with a tcp
portnumber. Added the hostname and ip-adress of de Windows NT server in my
/etc/host file.
When i want to access with dbaccess and try to connect to the database
server (NT) i have a warning that i can access my Online Dynamic Server
<servername>

Does anyone know what i'm doing wrong and when someone has an solution,
please email it to :
