SQL Server databases under Configuration Management control

Does anyone out there have their databases under Configuration Management.
If you do, could you give me some insight on how you do it? I need to
implement some sort of Configuration Management on my SQL Server databases,
and would appreciate any ideas that are currently in place, and remarks on
how well that implementation works for your business.

Thanks
Chris

Most projects I've been involved with just used a tool like Visual Source
Safe to store the DDL script files for the database.
