When using SQL 6.5 xp_sendmail with Exchange 5.5, any messages sent by SQL
result in a copy of the message getting stored in the Exchange Sent Mail
folder in that mailbox. There is a parameter in SQL 7 SQL Mail to not store
a copy of sent mail but I have'nt found a way to stop it in SQL6.5. Turning
off the parameter to keep a copy of sent mail works using the Outlook client
on that mailbox, but that has no effect SQL xp_sendmail does the send.
Is there a way to keep SQL 6.5 xp_sendmail from making copies of sent mail
in Exchange?
Thanks,
Jim
