Ya right.  Going to Microsoft.com/sql to find the service patch
is like an Easter Egg hunt where the single egg is somewhere
in the hundred acre woods.  I don't understand why they don't
have a link on the main sql page.

Three areas for the service pack for Intel 6.5 sp4:
? ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/bussys/sql/public/fixes/usa/SQL65/Sp4/
? http://support.microsoft.com/download/support/mslfiles/65sp4x86.exe ?
ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/SoftLib/MSLFiles/65sp4x86.exe

They do.  Its called Download & Trial.  It appears in the left hand
navigation panel.  You can then select SQL Server Service Packs on the next
page that is presented.  (It could also be that  my passion for chocolate
allowed me to find the egg faster!).  This method will also work when newer
service packs (or Sphinx) are released.  (Also, other products use the same
methodology - oh no, a common interface :-) )
