Associate SQL SERVER DBA - TRANSACT SQL - TRIGGERS -
{ VISUAL BASIC A PLUS } LOCATION: Irving, TX

Base salary up to $65,000 per year
plus 8% bonus, paid quarterly
plus MCSD or MCSE certification gets 10% raise and cash bonus
plus Microsoft trainin is paid
plus 401 k after one year of employment, plus excellent benefits
QUALIFICATIONS:
-4 year college degree
-1-3 years database development/DBA experience with Microsoft SQL Server 6.5
on Windows NT 4.0. Must know how to use the system utilities of Windows NT
and SQL Server. Ability to write efficient TSQL, stored procedures, triggers
and use of general system utilities. Perform database backups, restore and
monitor SQL Servers.

-Work effectively with team/work group
PREFERRED:
-4 year degree in Computer Science/IS
-2 year working experience with MS SQL Server.
-Minimum 6 Months experien as a development DBA/Junior DBA.
-1 Year experience with Visual Basic programming with MS SQL Server as
backend and integrating crystal reports for reporting needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-assist the Lead DBA in maintenance, monitoring, and development activities
in production/development datahbase environments.
-Must also function as a SQL Server developer and development DBA. - Write
Queries, stored procedures, triggers, tuning and troubleshooting.
-Write reports using Crystal Reports utility.
-Will be responsible in future for writing Visual Basic applications to
interact with the MS SQL Server.
-Assist Lead DBA with maintenance, monitoring, and development of Data
Warehouse.
-Develop data cubes for OLAP tools access
