i have created one cube with writeback table.
i am using mdx to retrieve the data in excel file.
initially i was able to retrive the data without process
the cube .

due to some reason , i changed one dimension structure
(meaning to say i changed one table structure , which i am
using in the cube.)

after that i am not able to see my data until i reprocess
the cube.

i rebuild the dimensions also.

should i recreate the writeback table?

Please help me out ....

Depending on the kind of dimension change (a new level for example) the cube
gets back to read-only mode and you miss any data inside the writeback table
. If you changed the structure you really need to reprocess the cube. After
that you have to write enable it again. Another tip. If you your writeback
table is growing fast you it is better to create a process to flush data
from the writeback table to the fact table. Performance will improve a lot.
