The database MSDB is marked suspect on SQL SERVER 6.5

Eric,

Are you absolutely sure that the KB applies to your situation? A database can be
marked suspect for many reasons....

I guess that you are looking for sp_resetstatus? I believe that the source is on Books
Online, but you might want to check out TechNet if there's some fix available.

The question is serious!
The technical card Q193453 indicates to me that the stored procedure Instsupl.sql
should solve my problem.
Unfortunately, I do not find this procedure in my distribution of SQL Server.
I in taken to you, could you send a copy of this file to me.
With my thanks, Eric.

Usually when it does that it includes the source for the stored proc and you
have to create it yourself. Look some more in Books Online.
Sorry i don't have SS6.5 BOL loaded anymore. In 7.0 it's in the BOL but
probably different.
