SQL7, SIMPLE SIMPLE SIMPLE question

Post by Jake Linde » Sat, 04 Sep 1999 04:00:00

I'm looking for someone to help show me how i can accomplish 2 things.

1) write a simple simple simple stored procedure with SQL 7 that
        a) deletes everything from about 10 tables, or 1 table

2) call this procedure from VB with NO parameters.

I can't find an easyway with the online help. but i'm sure it's a simple
process, can someone help please?

Gee Jake,

That's a good way to get people to offer assistance -- call them names
because you posted a question that didn't clearly state what you wanted.

Does this make sense??

> no you dope, I want to call a stored procedure from vb,
> in the stored procedure i want to truncate 10 tables.
> does this make sensi?

Sense of Humor Jake!  <grin>

We who spend time here answering folks' questions often interject a bit of
light heartedness into our responses....  It is a natural, and, I venture to
say a more civilized way to respond to certain types of posts.  (Not,
certainly, that your post falls into any of those unmentioned categorys!)

Regards,

Charly
