Hi guys,

Would appreciate if anyone of you out there could assist me with this
issue.

The analysis server is reporting error on & off whenever processing
cubes. This error occurs randomly to different cubes. Below are a
sample of it:

5/16/2002 5:09:27 AM    7465    Analysis Server Error: File error [Read
error] 'D:\MSSQL\data\WestMalaysiaSouthern_1\DTXDl\DTXDl.agg.rigid.data
The handle is invalid.  The handle is invalid. ' ; Time:5/16/2002

Any idea to overcome this?
Thanks

1. "Invalid BLOB Handle" problem

I am inquiring to find out more about this error and what is causing it.
I'm using Delphi 2 with BDE v3.5 under SQL Server and Windows NT.

Here is the line of code which generates the exception:
  ablobstream := TBlobStream.Create(ablobfield,bmRead);

The error message generated is:
"Invalid BLOB handle in record buffer"

I've done a lot of searching on this particular error. Many people seem
to get it, but no one has really replied to say what's causing it, or
how to fix it.

Any help/information would be appreciated. Reply either to this
newsgroup and/or by email.
