Attach SQL 2K db from a Network Share (UNC)

Hi,
Can you attach an SQL Server "2000" database from a network share?  Is
this possible?

For example, I have:

--A Database Console Command  traceon(1807)
--On SQL Server 7.0 You cannot create a database file on a --mapped or
UNC network location.
--I could get around this by turning on trace flag 1807.

Is their away around this in SQL Server 2000????

--Example Script.

dbcc traceon(1807)

Hi

As the error message says it's not possible, but in SQL3K there is support
for SANs!

Maybe in SQL3K everything will be virtual, but we will have to do with SAN
support in SQL2K for now!!!

Thanks, I didn't think so, but I had to ask. :)
