Large tables (?)

Large tables (?)

Hey,

Please take a brief look at the following article:

http://www.mssqlserver.com/articles/datatypes_p1.asp

It specifies, that although companies state that their DBMS can easily
handle tables with more than 4 billion rows, it actually can't, and no
database management application can handle a table as large as 2 billion
rows.

Is that, according to your experience, correct??

Thanks,
Oz

We've built tables with MS SQL Server 7.0 in excess of 5 billion rows.

It works...
