ATTN: SQL Service Manager -- if you've had issues, please read

We have been working on a fix for the SQL Service Manager issues resulting from the application of Service Pack 3 for SQL Server 2000.  In order to confirm that our fix addresses the majority of issues encountered, we were hoping to examine a set of netmon traces captured at the time that Service Manager fails.

If you have experienced Service Manager problems and are familiar with netmon, I would like to ask that you please collect a netmon trace and send it to me at my Microsoft email address (the referenced address minus the "online.").

Thank you

1. SQLMail - I've read the KB but I'm still stuck

I follow the Knowledge Base articles on setting up SQL Mail with
Exchange, but I still get MAPI logon errors. I am able to run the
xp_cmdshell "NET USE \\NTServer\IPC$" which is at the end of Article
ID: Q153159 . and it opens the connection.
I've tried setting up SQLMail on different occasions on different
machines even with different mail systems (exchange & mail) and I
can't ever get it set up. What am I missing?

The SQLMail and the SQL Executive are the same account...
I am able to send mail with the SQLMail account alone...

Thanks,
Chris
