hi everybody,
i can't find the list of "special characters" that sql2000 is not able to
manage (i.e. -->  '+',  '-', ...)

do you know where i can check to find it?

basically it is any non alpha-numeric character.

i suspected this thing, but i hoped not so many characters (non
alpha-numeric items are a lot, and i got to teach my users not to use them).

filter the non-alphanumeric characters out at the client.
