Q. How do I configure SQL Server to debug stored procedures?

A.  Microsoft's Visual Basic and Visual C Enterprise Edition contain built-in
stored-procedure debugging code for SQL 6.5 and 7.0.  See
http://www.veryComputer.com/
for details on how to configure it.

With SQL 2000 the de* is also integrated into the query analyzer tool so
that you do not need to use an external development tool.

There are also 3rd-party products available, including :-

http://www.veryComputer.com/ - RapidSQL
http://www.veryComputer.com/ - SQL-Builder
http://www.veryComputer.com/ - Xpediter
http://www.veryComputer.com/ - SQL Programmer

Beware - setting up SQL debugging will not be easy! There are many
things that can go wrong.
