Personal Oracle 8i and SQL Server 7.0 on windows 98

Post by Jeff Kis » Tue, 29 Jan 2002 23:46:35

Greetings.

I have a Windows 98 SE which is 433 mhz and 256 M ram.
I currently have (since I develop software) MS SQL Server 7.0 (I could
not install 2000 on 98 as a server) and Interbase 6.0.

Since this is an MS SQL Server group, any difficulties in installing
personal Oracle 8i on a machine with MS SQL Server 7.0?

Thanks
Jeff

Did the same thing  on NT and at least there it was just fine.

Thanks.

Of course NT and 98SE are different beasts. Anyone with 98 experience?

Thanks in any case,
Jeff
