Does anybody know about some good software for multidimensoinal modeling
with support MS Analysis Services?

Hi Lumir,

You might be interested in looking at the ADAPT methodology from Symmetry
Corp:
http://www.symcorp.com/html/welcome.html
If you've got Visio, they have a free stencil containing all the objects
used that you can download. Not quite what you're looking for, but still
pretty useful.

I'd be interested in hearing what other modelling software people out there
have used, and what their opinions are.

I ended up creating the models within visio. I have made a request to the
SQL Dev team that they include this functionality as a set of templates
within Visio.

I can send you an example of what I have done if you like - its not
automatic but maybe will save you some time.

Bascially I adopted the method that George Spofford uses in his olap books -
I think he has used it for years as I found some of the same examples in the
OLAP council documentation. It really makes things much easier.
