SQLserver 2000 does not start on XP, error 1058

Post by Davi » Sat, 17 May 2003 20:19:34

I installed SQL server 2000 on XP machine. It started OK,
but after rebooting it does not start (Error
1058) "Service cannot be started either because it is
disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated
with it".

I removed & reinstalled the service. And it happened again.
Works OK untill I reboot.
I do not have such problem with Window 2000.
Thanks,
David.
