1. dim a = new ADODB.Connection 'causing errors!

Synopsis:
--------------

I'm trying to identify what I need to install on some computers to get
them to work with my application.  It would seem HALF the computers I
test on have this mysterious ADO library and the rest do not...

I recieve the following Run-time error when I try to open up a simple
ADODB.Connection (Like I said it works on some computers and not
others).

The error:
---------------

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------+
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------+
                 Run-time error '-2147221164 (80040154)':

                 Class not registered

                                [OK - button]
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------+

The code that inspires this is a simple variable call:

The action:
-----------------

Dim cnMyConnection = ADODB.Connection

My explenation:
------------------------

Although I've installed MDAC 2.6 AND Jet4.0sp3 on this system I've yet
to resolve this.  It's as if something wasn't really installed quite
right at some point.

The plea:
--------------

Any ideas?  It would appear that the ADO driver is missing but I can
honestly say that all the files in the "reference" section of the
project CAN be found on the host computer, is it a matter of them
being there and not properly registered with the appropriate authority
files or are some missing?  Anyone else ever encounter this?
