Those damn Registry errors!

Those damn Registry errors!

After installing SQL 7, in the NT event log two "red dot" errors show up,
event id 998 - unable to set registry key - line 315 and event id 1531 -
cannot open registry key. I am not overly concerned about these, should I
be? Can anyone tell me exactly what these mean and whether I should worry
about them affecting some component in the future? I have been through
Technet, MSDN and the SQL websites but cannot find specific documentation on
the errors or their causes. Running NT4, SP4, IE 4 with HP server. Have also
reformatted drive with no difference.

TIA,
Jonathan Amos.
