VBasic 6.0 and SQL 6.5

I'm developing apps for VB6.0 accessing to SQL6.5. When I run my apps in the
server (where SQL6.5 is) it runs fine... But when I run my apps from a
client with W95, it doesn't access to the server. I've created the link to
the server and it runs with MS-Access, but not with VB... Does anybody know
what it the problem?

1. User connections with SQL Server 6.5 and VBasic 6.0

Hi everyone!

We are working with Visual Basic 6.0 and SQL Server 6.5, and each time we
run a project in VBasic, we get a lot of idle
connections with SQL Server. In most of our forms there are some Data
Controls and Ado Data Controls and we think these controls are causing the
problem.

We use the ODBC providers for OLE DB, and we have tried to enable the
connection pooling in the ODBC but it hasn't worked at all.

We think  there has to be a way to close these connections, either from
Visual Basic code or from SQL Server.

Does anyone know how to solve it?
