Service Account vs. Local System Account

Service Account vs. Local System Account

Does anyone know the advantages of using a service account to run the SQL
Services (MSSQL Server and SQL Executive) vs. running under the Local System
Account.

The Service Account would have Domain Admin privileges.

Thanks in advance,
Michael

One of the major disadvantages of using 'Local System Account', LSA,
specially in multi server environment is that you may not be able to use SQL
EM to connect to other remote machines. LSA is good for its own machine, so
it normally has authentication problem when connecting to remote machines.
