1069 logon failure???? please help

Post by Juli » Thu, 28 Mar 2002 01:04:29

Hello,

This morning our sys admin re-booted the server and now I cannot logon
to MS SQL 2000.  It gives me a 1069 logon failure.  I went to the
server and tried to star the services but still go that same error.  I
am assuming I need to reset a password somewhere but sont know where
of how...can anyone point me in the right direction.

Thanks,

julie

Julie,

Go to the Control Panel, and the Services applet.  You can reset both the
account that is used to start SQL Server, along with the password for that
account.

When posting, inclusion of SQL (CREATE TABLE ..., INSERT ..., etc.) which
can be cut and pasted into Query Analyzer is appreciated.
