I work on a MS SQL Server 6.5 database system that includes 13 servers
replicating over 64Kb lines. Every server is up to service pack 5a.
One distribution task keeps failing with the error message:
24000[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver]Invalid cursor state
I've seen that setting the -c option to 1 caused this problem with SS
6.0, but I've tried running it with -c set to other values and I've got
6.5, anyway. I've tried rebooting the server and every other potential
quick fix that requires no actual knowledge that I could think of. I
hope I have provided enough information. I look forward to a potential
solution from someone more knowledgeable than me. Thanks in advance.
