Performance of Host Print Transform

Performance of Host Print Transform

What is the most useful thing you can do to speed up host print transform
for remote printing?
I've got 1 queue doing a transform to ASCII to another q on same system,
and that q then
ships it off by IP address to our network HP laser.

The transform to ASCII takes 3 minutes or more per page. Is it the setup
of the QSPL subsystem and it's pool?
I am using a workstation customizing table to modify my fonts.
I have tried everything I can think of and its just SLOW....
Thanks in advance..
Robin
