First is there an Assembler for MACs (68k/PPC) second if not how many
would be interested in a MAC assembler

Metrowerks CodeWarrior and Symantec THINK C both allow you to write in
asm. Their support covers most needs to write in asm on the Mac.

And, of course, MPW has full-fledged assemblers.

Well, the PPC assembler seems to be pretty limited in its macro
capability compared to the 68K version.  I use macros on the
68K to munge some text strings to hide them, but the PPC macros
didn't seem to support the looping required.
