Does anyone know of an independent test of the Kodak laminated dye sub
prints versus conventional dye sub prints. I saw something that said
conventional dye subs begin to fade in as little as 3 years, and it is
certainly the case that conventional dye subs are easily damaged up by
finger prints and such.
In the Kodak system the laminate is provided by the printer ribbon, but it
would seem like someone could produce a spray or some other coating for
these types of prints. Is there anything like that available?
