RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
De* Engineer

Involves software development on Microsoft Windows NT, Windows 95,
Macintosh and other desktop platforms. The position will develop code for
the de* component of Metrowerks CodeWarrior. Will target Metrowerks
De* for embedded OSes (PalmPilot, Sony PlayStation); Real-Time OSes
(OS9, Nucleus); and desktop OSes (MacOS, BeOS, Windows NT).

Will interact with other de* engineers to enhance and maintain
feature set. Will deliver binaries to QA for CD releases. Will assist
technical support personnel to resolve problems.

Four-year college degree required; computer science or engineering degree
preferred. Must have experience with C, C++, and some assembly language
(68K, PowerPC, x86, or MIPS) on Macintosh or Microsoft Windows. Must be
able to work comfortably at or below the OS level. Serial and networking
protocols, user interface, and cross-platform experience would help.

Location: Austin, Tex.

Will develop a de* plug-in. Will test code and work with QA to
resolve problems with plug-in code. Will also implement new symbolic
support in de*.

Four-year college degree required; computer science or engineering degree
preferred. Experience with C/C++ required. Experience with PowerPC or MIPS
tools development is also required. Ideal candidates will have written
de*s for embedded targets or desktop targets and have delivered
embedded tools product. Experience with 68K tools development is
preferred.

Macintosh. Experience with Windows is desirable.  BSCS or equivalent
computer related experience.
