Cisco 800 and UDP port forwarding?

Cisco 800 and UDP port forwarding?

Post by Claes Wille » Sat, 05 Jun 1999 04:00:00

On a Cisco 700 i use this command

set ip pat porthandler 6112 192.168.1.100

(Where 192.168.1.100 is my PC internal IP adress)

How do I do the same on a Cisco 800?

1. Cisco 800 series port forwarding

I know this is really basic, but how do I forward any connection to
port 3999 to IP 192.168.100.125 (internal)?

It seems difficult to do and I'm dazed and confused and in fear of
messing the router up I decided to seek advice here before trying
anything out.

Is it something like this?
access-list 100 permit tcp any host 192.168.100.125 eq 39999

Do I need to type anything in besides user and pw before typing this
in?

Thanks for any help :)
Jon
