We have gained a 7000 chassis from an aquistion. It has a RSP7000
processer but no CI card. It seems to work fine but does complain
that the "Channel Interface Board" is not present.
I have come to understand that this was part of the RSP7000 upgrade.
Can someone enlighten me on what this board is and what it does. Has
anyone had any experience in running a chassis without one or what the
ramifications may be.
