AS5300: Weird error message upon booting

Post by Ronnie Higginbotha » Wed, 23 Jul 2003 12:43:48

5300 has a IOS it run regular IOS code like 12.1, 12.2 etc. It also has
firmware that controls the mica modem inside the 5300 (which is seems you
are missing.)

When you issue a dir what IOS do you have?

I don't have a 5300 in front of me right now to show you what you should see
when you issue a dir. But here is how you would perform a mica code upgrade.

and then it booted up fine.
It only has 2 ethernet ports configured even though it is fully populated
with 3 EIPs, 1 FIP, 1 AIP, and 1 SP.

Anybody has any idea what is going on?
Thanks in advance
