I have just received the Motorola tools (Sim56000 & Asm56000).
I had some troubles to make them work with Ptolemy (sim-cg56 target):
- the '.lod' format seems to be obsolete now (version 5.3 of asm56000)
- the '.asm' is not added after the filename by asm56000
These troubles can easily be fixed by creating 2 scripts named asm5600&sim56000 before calling the real asm56000&sim56000.
(All CG56 - Simulator demos are now working)
Now I would like to have the Thor demos working : ModAsm56000 is called instead of Sim56000 ...
Is ModAsm56000 created with the sim56000 libraries coming with the Motorola package ? Is it a totally recreated sim56000 ? Is there any way to have it work 'outside from Berkeley' ?
