use subst
use doskey
actually i constrain my path to my ramdisk
have a series of doskey marcos
e.g to start tc.exe :
doskey BC=md d:\tc$tcd d:\tc$tpkunzip c:\lughaat\c\BORLAND\tc$ttc
d: is my ram disk
j: is my same ramdisk, using subst
s: is a subdir in my ramdisk, using subst
.
.
.
4dos allows larger command-line
don't know if 4dos agrees with win95
there is 4dosNT, though
dos7.x
which underly win9x
allows a command line as long as 1k
not by default,
u have to set the right swiches.
also choice does somthing similar (again, dos 7.x)
