Hi, everyone,
I have recently encountered a problem with \dos\msd.exe. msd.exe will hang
-- stopping at 'msd is examing your system' -- if I boot my machine with
the following autoexec.bat and config.sys files. msd runs if I boot a clean
machine, ie. hold down SHIFT while starting.
AUTOEXEC.BAT

I am using a IBM ThinkPad 750c with 8M RAM. I do not know if this is related,
but, if I boot a clean machine, I could run msd.exe and my 14.4 external modem
works perfectly using Telix for Dos 3.22. However, if I uses these files,
msd.exe hangs and my modem could not do any file transfer ( tons of "Bad CRC"
while doing file transfers.)
My modem is on COM 1 and my mouse is PS/2, I do not think there is a conflict.
Your help is greatly appreciated.
Truly,
