:> Please, if anyone has SVGA drivers for Borland C++ ver 3.0 or later (DOS)
:> I would be grateful for a reply.
:> Maby there is a site that has them? Please let me know ASAP.
:> Their purpose is for coding using SVGA!
:> The more Video Cards supported the better!
Forget BGI... I did a lot of looking around and I finally bought a
shareware SVGA library called SVGACC because It was completely easy to use,
very powerful, and compatible to just about everything. Here is a
description of it provided with the package:
SVGACC.LIB-ver 2.0-is a high-res, 256-color
graphics library for MS & Borland C/C++. It
recognizes 20 different SVGA cards, allows
programming in 320x200, 640x480, 800x600 and
1024x768 256-color modes. Capabilities:
hardware id; simple primitives; 2D/3D points,
joystick/mouse support, GIF encode/decode;
paging; XMS; palettes; bitmaps and sprites.
The authors are:
You can pick this library up in a lot of places, Simtel being your
bes bet. (/pub/msdos/programming?) I've been doing tons of stuff with
it and I could send a couple of uuencoded demos to you if you like.
